I found out last night that if i go downtown Indy after midnight the roads are clear enough that I can just set up my camera on a tri-pod and I don't have to worry about getting hit by a car. Here's what I got.
nice photos! makes downtown indy look like a fun place to be!
jake, are you starting to feel old like me? i heard from my family some of the names of kids back home who are graduating from high school this year - so crazy!!!!
didn't we just finish high school ourselves???!!! i guess it's been a while :)
yeah... my youngest brother is about the same age as jonah - my evskie turned 12 in april. (you may or may not recall the drama surrounding his entrance to the world, but he's grown up into a crazy sports fanatic of a kid :) ) along with your bro jessy, it seems that the middle-of-the-family schleas, roberts and hursts also marched to pomp and circumstance this year. the last time i lived at home, i was their jr. high youth group advisor! i was talking to addie for a minute yesterday and marvelling at the fact that the schleas will only have three kids left at home - so weird! ah, for the days of gigantic, gas guzzling vans :) but i guess the population must be rather reduced in your ancestral home, as well. i never really had a whole lot of plans or ambitions, so i can't say my life is turning out differently from what i planned, since i didn't really plan too much. i guess i did have some vague notions, but i don't think i would have guessed a lot of things about where i or anybody else would end up. i can think of exactly one childhood friend whose life is (so far) turning out exactly as she and everyone else expected. i don't know how she scored that deal, but that's not the box i opened!
anyway... i guess that's a bit of a long reply for a blog comment, but what else is to be expected from a girl who lists "unnecessary prolixity" as her most notable skill? :)
thinking of all that makes something else really ridiculous comes to mind... just two words: coffee clatch. ah, the subtle interpersonal drama, the open mic nights, the lack of disposable income... "could i, um, just have a cup of water, please?" :)
seems like a long time ago, and... not a very long time ago. but that graduation announcement should drive home the reality :)
nice shots man. was great to steam it up with you! wish we could've had more time!
I want to play too. Nice shots as usual.
how about getting a pic of a car coming right at you at high speeds and then you flying through the air....now that would cool.
Not you getting hit by a car but the pic of you flying through the air... :)
john.. you're full of such great idea's!! I'll have to work on that one
I bet you chicken out.
you're probably right
be a man...take an "eXtreme" Picture....you know you wanna. You'll be popular....
